Malpas said his side were magnificent against Celtic

Motherwell boss Maurice Malpas said his players deserved at least a point after watching the 1-1 draw with Celtic.
Darren Smith's injury-time equaliser cancelled out Derek Riordan's first goal for Celtic, as the home side spurned several chances.
"My players were magnificent today," Malpas said. "I was delighted. We told them before the game that they had to get the ball and do something with it.
"We deserved the goal. I'll be greedy and say we should have got the win."
Motherwell striker Scott McDonald missed several good chances to score and Malpas conceded: "Wee Scotty didn't have his shooting boots on today."
