Boswell to take Morton to court
Morton have been plagued by financial problems recently
Morton have been plagued by financial problems recently
A dispute between Morton and their former goalkeeper, Matt Boswell, could end up being settled in court.

The 24-year-old, who quit the club six weeks ago, is reportedly preparing to sue prospective owner Mike Peden.

Boswell and Peden have fallen out over expenses the goalkeeper claims that he is still owed.

Ironically, Boswell is now on trial with Kidderminster Harriers, the club who are also in dispute with the Scottish Division One club.

The English Third Division club claim that they are still owed 26,500 from the summer transfer of Andy Brownrigg.

Both the English and Scottish leagues are investigating that deal.

Last week, Peden assured a fans' meeting that his purchase of Hugh Scott's majority shareholding will go ahead soon.
