Morecambe reserve Rovers deal
Jim Harvey
The Blackburn deal could benefit boss Jim Harvey
Conference club Morecambe have agreed to allow First Division title favourites Blackburn Rovers to play their reserve matches at Christie Park this season.

The agreement will provide additional income for The Shrimps as Blackburn were keen to protect their Ewood Park playing surface for the bid to return to the Premiership.

Morecambe boss Jim Harvey will also be hoping to have first pick of any Blackburn reserve players who are available for loan during the season.

Harvey, meanwhile, has boosted his squad by signing former Morecambe player Andy Lyons from Ayr United on a free transfer.
