Sammy McIlroy is keen to make some new signings
Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy has told BBC Radio Lancashire he wants to sign two players before the transfer window closes next week.

McIlroy has been tracking Barbados International striker Neil Harvey and Royal Antwerp right-back Henry McStay.

Harvey has scored 27 goals in all competitions for Unibond League side Retford this season.

The 24-year-old is also in the Barbados squad for their World Cup qualifier against Dominica in February.

Harvey previously enjoyed a spell at Nantwich where he scored more than 30 goals.

McIlroy said: "I know it's a different level but goalscorers usually score at any level."

He added: "Henry McStay should be with me on Monday. He's a big strong boy, playing very well out in Antwerp and he's come with a great recommendation."
