Montrose manager Jim Weir has returned to former club St Johnstone to sign striker Steven Doris on loan.
The 19-year-old is the third player to have been farmed out by First Division Saints, Willie Dyer joining Brechin City and Neil McCallum going to Forfar.
But Weir is hoping to make more signings to strengthen his side as they challenge for the Division Three title.
"I'm now starting to look at getting some players in for the January window," he said.
