Montrose have parted company with manager Eddie Wolecki, with co-boss David Robertson taking sole charge.
David Robertson and Eddie Wolecki are no longer co-managers
Wolecki agreed a severance package with the Third Division club after approaching their board last week.
BBC Sport understands that he was unhappy at the co-manager arrangement with former Elgin boss Robertson.
Robertson was appointed this summer, following new director of football Kenny Black to Montrose after having working together at Borough Briggs.
Wolecki had been appointed manager in December 2005, coming from junior outfit Lochee United.
Robertson and Black left Elgin that same month after a failed takeover bid of the club.
Wolecki made radical changes to the playing staff last season, but Montrose failed to challenge for promotion and this season lie in sixth spot.
