Milton Keynes Dons have released six players following their League One play-off defeat by Scunthorpe.
Striker Ali Gerba, midfielder Flavien Belson, keeper Nathan Abbey, midfielder Alan Navarro and strikers Jemal Johnson and Tore Andre Flo are all out.
Flo missed the deciding penalty in the semi-final shoot-out defeat.
Carl Regan, Danny Swailes, Miguel Angel Llera and winger Mark Wright are still having contract talks and midfielder Luke Howell has penned a one-year deal.
Dons' chairman Pete Winkelman said: "They've all brought their own qualities to what's been a fantastic couple of seasons.
"Several of those to depart have given some great service to this football club, particularly a man like Alan Navarro, who has performed with immense commitment during his two years with us.
"They have all given nothing less than 100% during their time in an MK Dons' shirt and have contributed to a truly memorable time in the club's emerging history.
"They all leave with our best wishes for the future."
