Millwall have signed Peterborough United striker Shaun Batt on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old, who was signed on loan in January, helped the Lions win promotion to the Championship last term by scoring three goals in 10 starts.

"It was an easy decision to make," Batt told the club website.

"Things went well for me from when I first came here and I've had great support from [manager] Kenny Jackett, Joe Gallen and everyone else."

Batt joined Posh for a nominal fee from Fisher Athletic in 2008 and made more than 50 appearances for the League One club.

Prior to his stint at London Road he also played at St Albans and Dagenham & Redbridge.
