Abdou agrees new deal at Millwall

Abdou has made over 40 appearances for Millwall

Millwall midfielder Jimmy Abdou has signed a new deal to keep him at the New Den until summer 2013.

The 25-year-old joined the Lions from Plymouth Argyle in 2008 and has been a successful addition to Kenny Jackett's side, making over 40 appearances.

"I'm very happy here and there is a good spirit in the team," Abdou told the club website.

"Last year was great for me and so it was an easy decision to extend my time at Millwall."
