Millwall's on-loan striker Vincent Pericard is out for the rest of the season after a scan confirmed he needs surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon.
He was injured in the 3-1 win against Cheltenham at Whaddon Road on Tuesday.
Pericard had only played two league games for the Lions since joining from Stoke City.
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett told the club's website: "It's desperately disappointing, he was beginning to show what an asset he could have become."
Jackett added: "He is out-of-contract at the end of the season and was keen to show what he could do at Millwall."
