Jackett hopes injuries will clear

Millwall

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett is hoping to welcome some of his injured players back to boost their bid to avoid relegation from League One.

Jackett was without 15 players for Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth, which left the Lions only two places above the relegation zone.

And Jackett told BBC London 94.9 that he needs players back fit.

"There's a lot of players that are unavailable. We do hope and are looking into our treatment room," he said.

The Millwall boss admitted he found defeat to two late goals at Dean Court hard to take and insisted Bournemouth keeper David Forde's penalty save from Neil Harris was the turning point.

He said: "For 60 or 70 minutes I was scratching my head as to why we weren't in front at that period.

"But if you miss a penalty at 0-0 of course there's going to be a turning point."
