Lions confirmed in Uefa Cup
Millwall will be in next season's Uefa Cup
Millwall's place in next season's Uefa Cup has been ratified - by their south-east London neighbours Charlton.

The Addicks' win at Liverpool on Monday means the Merseysiders cannot now catch Manchester United in the Premiership.

Newcastle still could overhaul the Red Devils, but Sir Alex Ferguson's men cannot finish lower than fourth, which gives them a Champions League place.

Their FA Cup final opponents Millwall will now definitely receive the Uefa Cup place, whatever happens in Cardiff.

Millwall won a place in the FA Cup final - and the Uefa Cup - by beating Sunderland in the semi-final at Old Trafford, home of Manchester United.

The Lions came back to earth with a bump after that game, losing 4-0 to Coventry in the league, but Dennis Wise's men grabbed a worthy 1-1 draw against West Brom on Monday.
