Wise receives Cup boost
Millwall player-boss Dennis Wise
Millwall are confident player-manager Dennis Wise and Paul Ifill will be fit for the FA Cup final - but there is a doubt over club captain Kevin Muscat.

Wise had been a major doubt but his assistant Ray Wilkins said: "Dennis suffered a nasty cut to his knee during the semi-final on Sunday.

"It was the opposite knee to the one he injured in the quarter-final, but he recovered from that one in a fortnight.

"We would anticipate a similar recovery period for this injury."

Ifill has a groin injury and is also expected to be sidelined for two weeks, which means he like Wise will be available for the final against Manchester United in May.

But there is still a big doubt over skipper Muscat - who is hoping to join the ban of players who have appeared in Cup finals north and south of the border.
