McDonald unfazed by early Boro slip
Middlesbrough striker Scott McDonald has described the pressure on clubs in the Championship as "ludicrous" after just two matches played this season.
Sheffield United parted company with Kevin Blackwell last weekend, and McDonald is surprised at how quickly clubs are reacting to a poor start.
"Only two teams have won two out of two games, but some managers have lost their jobs," McDonald told BBC Tees.
"Getting just a couple of wins can put you back up there."
McDonald added: "The pressure is on us because we're the big spenders.
"It's down to the players to have the performances, show why the manager has brought us in and prove that."
