Middlesbrough striker Leroy Lita is eyeing more goals after opening his account for the Teessiders against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Lita, 24, joined Boro on a free transfer during the summer and is keen to extend his scoring run against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

"It's always nice to get the first goal," he told BBC Tees.

"I love scoring goals, it's the best feeling in the world, and I can't wait for the next game."

Lita made his name at Bristol City, scoring 31 league goals in 85 league games, before a move to Reading came in 2005.

Since then he spent four seasons at the Madjeski, with loan-spells at Charlton and Norwich before switching to the North East in July 2009.
