Crosby joined Boro in July 2004 to work as reserve team boss
Middlesbrough have parted company with assistant manager Malcolm Crosby after five years with the club.
Crosby joined Boro as reserve team boss in July 2004, before he was promoted to assistant boss by incoming manager Gareth Southgate in June 2006.
"Gareth has decided to make changes at the club and unfortunately I am part of those changes," the 54-year-old said.
"I am disappointed after working for three years as Gareth's assistant but I wish them the best for next season."
Boro chief executive Keith Lamb added: "We would like to thank Malcolm for all his work over the last three years and wish him every success for the future."
