Middlesbrough striker Joseph-Desire Job has moved to Saudi Arabian side Al
Ittihad on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old has been out of favour with Boro boss Steve McLaren, with only one substitute appearance this season.
Strikers Mark Viduka and Aiyegbeni Yakubu and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have all been preferred to Job.
"He's keen to secure his Cameroon place and he needs first-team football, which was something I couldn't guarantee him," McLaren told the club's website.
Job has made 112 appearances for Boro since his £3m arrival from Lens in 2000, scoring 22 goals including the opener in the club's Carling Cup final win over Bolton.
