Eight leave Mansfield
Mansfield have released eight players following their defeat in the Third Division play-off final.

Tony Vaughan, Jamie Clarke, Chris Beardsley, Craig Mitchell, Andy White, Iyseden Christie, Mark Hurst and Laurent D'Jaffo have all been let go.

Stags boss Keith Curle told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It was a case of players I didn't think had a future here. We need to be progressive."

Twelve more out-of-contract players have been offered new contracts.

Bobby Hassell, Rhys Day, Dave Artell, Jake Buxton, Luke Dimech, Adam Eaton, Liam Lawrence, Craig Disley, Neil MacKenzie, Tom Curtis, Lee Williamson and Junior Mendes have 30 days to respond.
