A plaque and clock (shown) in memory of those who died were erected at Old Trafford and unveiled on 25 February 1960.
This year, the 50th anniversary of the crash, United will again mark the Munich disaster and remember the special talents that were lost that fateful day.
There will be a minute's silence ahead of the 10 February Premier League match against Manchester City, commemorative wreaths will be laid, each team will wear 1950s kits with shirts numbered one to 11 and devoid of sponsors' logos.
Those whose lives were tragically cut short will never be forgotten.
