Scholes was a major doubt for the start of the season

Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes may be fit for the start of the Premier League season - despite a recent exploratory knee operation.
Scholes, 32, was injured during a pre-season game against FC Seoul but has been included in the squad to face Dunfermline in a friendly on Wednesday.
If he plays some part, Scholes could be a substitute against Reading on Sunday.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson will not be at the East End Park run-out because his wife wants him to help move house.

Ferguson said: "I told Cathy that I had a match but she wasn't having any of that. She said it was a friendly and that I had to help her."
Another United side will travel to Belfast to play Glentoran on Wednesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo was not included in either squad but the winger is expected to shake off a minor ankle knock in time for United's Premier League opener.
