Sir Alex Ferguson has virtually ruled out any chance of Ryan Giggs being fit for Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final with Newcastle on 17 April.
Giggs limped out of last week's draw with Blackburn with a hamstring injury.
And Ferguson told MUTV: "Ryan is very doubtful for the semi-final. I don't think he will make it.
"Obviously you want a player of his experience for all the big games so it is a blow. We'll see what he looks like next week but it doesn't look good."
