Man City secure new sponsorship

Manchester City players celebrate a goal
City's players will be sporting a new shirt sponsor next season

Manchester City have signed a new multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Abu-Dhabi-based Etihad Airlines.

The three-year sponsorship deal will see Etihad replace Thomas Cook on the team's shirts.

City will unveil their new shirt sponsors on their pre-season tour of South Africa in July.

The club did not reveal the exact figure involved in a deal secured by their cash-rich owners, the Abu Dhabi United Group.

City kick off their South African tour against Orlando Pirates in Cape Town on 18 July.
