Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has signed a new four-year contract.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper after some impressive displays recently for the England Under-21 side at the European Championship in Holland.
"I'm delighted the contract is sorted out, I just want to get back to working hard and playing well when pre-season starts next week," said Onuoha.
"I like to think I have been improving game-on-game recently, I think I have come on massively from two years ago."
City chief executive Alistair Mackintosh revealed his delight at persuading Onuoha to commit to the club until 2011.

"We opened talks with Nedum a couple of months ago and then had to wait until the tournament was over before the deal could be concluded," said Mackintosh.
"Nedum's contract extension re-affirms our commitment to having a squad with the very best young, home-grown, talent and securing their long-term futures at the football club."
