Joey Barton has apologised for his part in a hotel bar row during Manchester City's tour of Thailand.
He was sent back to Manchester from Bangkok by boss Stuart Pearce and is set to hear his punishment on Monday.
Barton, 22, reacted to a group of Everton supporters and is alleged to have turned on team-mate Richard Dunne as he tried to act as peacemaker.
"I apologise to everyone I've offended, especially my team-mates, my manager and all the club's fans," said Barton.

"There was no fight between me and Richard but there was, however, a verbal exchange with a group of supporters," Barton told the Manchester Evening News.
"I was struck by a supporter, which I reacted badly to, but I stress that I didn't throw a punch at the supporter or Richard.
"I have let everyone down. I regret the incident but it was not the mass brawl that some people have made it out to be."
Barton added that he would be first into training on Monday morning, is determined to "make things up" to City manager Stuart Pearce and wants to prove to people that he is "not some sort of head case."
