Hinchcliffe says Keegan should go
Former Man City defender Andy Hinchcliffe
Former Manchester City defender Andy Hinchcliffe has called for boss Kevin Keegan to resign this summer.

Keegan has said he will not continue past the remaining 18 months of his contract, but Hinchcliffe feels the situation should not drag on.

Hinchcliffe told BBC GMR: "What benefit do you get from this and what are you going to do for the next 18 months?

"If he's going to leave, he should leave and I think the end of this season would be sensible."

Former England defender Hinchcliffe spent three years at Maine Road before moving to Everton in 1990.

Hinchcliffe insisted Keegan had nothing to fear from his time charge.

He said: "Kevin can walk away with his head held up and the club can move on and bring in somebody else."
