Sylvain Distin is happy to stay with Manchester City

Manchester City skipper Sylvain Distin has said that he wants to stay with Kevin Keegan's side.
Earlier this month, Newcastle had a £5m bid rejected for Distin, who spent the 2001/02 season on loan with them.
Distin told City's website: "I am happy to be here and I want to stay but who knows what will happen in the future.
"I have not spoken to Newcastle but if City accepted a bid then I would have to. I am in a good and happy situation at City and want that to carry on."
Meanwhile City say they have had no further approach from Fenerbahce for Nicolas Anelka, following an initial bid nearly a fortnight ago.
