Man City seal Vuoso deal
Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan
City manager Keegan continues his spending spree
Argentinian striker Vicente Matias Vuoso has completed his move to Manchester City from Independiente.

The 20-year-old forward passed a medical, having already agreed personal terms.

The club are also confident of completing a deal for French striker Nicolas Anelka by the end of the week.

Argentine striker Vicente Matias Vuoso is set to become Kevin Keegan's latest signing when he completes his move to Maine Road.

"I am thankful to the club (Independiente) and the fans. Some day I will return," Vuoso said on the City website.

Vuoso was keen to be near his friend and former Independiente striking partner, Diego Forlan, who plays for Manchester United.

Independiente came bottom of Argentina's Clausura league championship this year.
