City list Edghill
Richard Edgehill
Edghill has slipped down the Main Road pecking order
Richard Edghill, Manchester City's longest-serving player, has been transfer-listed.

The 26-year-old defender was stripped of City's captaincy earlier this season after conceding an own goal in the home game against Coventry.

He was later substituted at half-time by Maine Road boss Joe Royle.

He spent a month on loan at Birmingham before winning his City place back.

Edgehill has only managed nine appearances this season and has since slipped out of the first-team picture again.
