Chester snap up Luton duo on loan
Chester City have signed Luton Town defensive pair David Bayliss and Ian Hillier on month-long loan deals.

Bayliss, 28, started almost 200 games for Rochdale before joining Luton in December 2001 but has not figured in the league for the Hatters this term.

Hillier, 24, started his career with Tottenham before moving to Luton.

Chester have also made a cash bid for Shrewsbury Town midfielder Jamie Tolley, but have failed in a move for Yeovil Town striker Phil Jevons.
