Macclesfield Town have signed Iraq international Jassim Swadi Fayadh.
The 29-year-old left-sided midfielder was part of the Iraq national squad which toured Britain in the summer.
"He has been training with us now for a couple of weeks and has looked very good," Macclesfield boss Brian Horton told the club's website.
Jassim, whose last club was Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, is a vastly experienced player having made more than 40 appearances for his country.
Fayadh scored one of the goals in Iraq's win over the National Game XI at Macclesfield's Moss Rose ground.
