Luton will sign Stevenage winger Andy Drury on a Bosman free transfer, after he signed a two-year deal at Town.

The 26-year-old helped Borough win the Blue Square Premier title this year but has turned down the chance to play in the Football League to join Luton.

Drury joined Borough from Lewes in 2008 and was a key player for them.

Hatters manager Richard Money said: "Andy has been a player that has been on the forefront of our minds throughout the whole of last season."

He added: "We are naturally absolutely thrilled that he has made the ambitious decision to join us.

"It's fantastic to be able to attract a player of his ability, and we believe that our long-term plans and current stature were the main factors in persuading him to agree terms with us.

"Playing in front of 7,000-plus crowds every week is a massive incentive for any footballer, especially at this level.

"Both Andy, myself and everyone at the club are extremely excited about next season's challenges and beyond."

Drury, who scored in his final game for Borough - the FA Trophy final defeat by Barrow, becomes the Hatters' fourth summer signing, after goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington, defender Dan Gleeson and striker Danny Crow.

The move will go through on 1 July.
