Luton swoop for keeper Pilkington

Pilkington is currently third-choice keeper at Meadow Lane

Veteran goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington has joined Luton Town on a one-month loan from Notts County.

The 35-year-old has been brought in as cover because first choice Mark Tyler is struggling with a back injury.

Shane Gore replaced Tyler for the Hatters' two FA Cup ties against Rochdale, keeping a clean sheet in the 2-0 replay win at Spotland.

Pilkington started his career at Manchester United and spent five years at Mansfield Town.
