Livingston have awarded permanent deals to trialists Raffaele De Vita, Jason Talbot and Giordano Vanin.

Englishman Talbot plays at a full-back while Italian duo De Vita and Vanin are a striker and goalkeeper respectively.

Speaking on the club website, chairman Anelo Massone said: "All three players have done well since the start of pre-season training."

"We hope that Giordano, Jason and Raffaele can help us meet our goal of returning Livingston to the SPL."

Former Parma keeper Vanin, 22, has signed a three-year deal while 22-year-old Talbot has agreed a two-year contract having previously played for Bolton, Derby, Mansfield and Port Vale.

De Vita, 20, was a regular scorer in Blackburn Rovers' reserve team after joining the Ewood Park club in 2004.

The club have decided not to pursue their interest in Gabriel Bagot, Jonathan Di Maria and Gianmarco Strambase, who have also been on trial at Almondvale.

Several other trialists will continue to train with the squad this week and Massone says the club will bring in more players this summer.

He added: "Our search to bring more quality players to Almondvale will continue and we expect to announce a number of further signings before the start of the season."

Meanwhile, out-of-contract striker Robert Snodgrass has re-joined the squad for pre-season training having not yet found a new club.
