First Division club Livingston claim to have moved a step closer to having their year-long transfer ban lifted.
The Scottish Football League imposed the embargo pending a settlement with former player Emmanuel Dorado.
The Frenchman was axed in 2006 after refusing a pay cut, which the league deemed to be a breach of contract.
Livi chairman Angelo Massone said: "We have now sent payments to Mr Dorado as required by the SFL and we do not expect any further issues."
