First Division outfit Livingston have signed Gretna striker Colin McMenamin on a five-week loan deal.

McMenamin, 25, has been added to the squad to face Stirling Albion at Almondvale on Saturday.

The striker told the club's official website: "I'm ready for tomorrow and really looking forward to it."

Livingston boss Mark Proctor said his side were playing well, adding: "Securing a striker with Colin's statistics is the icing on the cake."

McMenamin, who will enjoy his second spell at Livingston, said: "I have great memories of my previous time at the club, so am keen to come back.

"The set up Mark and Curtis Fleming described to me sounds great and I hear the boys are really loving training."

McMenamin joined Gretna on a free transfer from League Two outfit Shrewsbury Town and recently signed a new deal with the Premier League club until 2009.
