Czech midfielder Jakub Hottek has become manager Mark Proctor's first signing for Livingston.
Dariusz Wdowczyk is the new director of football at Livingston
The 24-year-old, capped by his country at under-21 level, has agreed a two-year deal and joins as a free agent from Viktoria Zizkov.
Meanwhile, former Celtic defender Dariusz Wdowczyk is to take up the post of director of football at Almondvale.
Wdowczyk had been a contender for the manager's post, having worked with several top Polish clubs.
The West Lothian club have promised to parade another new face on Friday, with the club website saying it will be a Pole with international experience.
In May, The Scottish Football League voted to ban Livingston from transfer activity, following a dispute over payments to their former defender Emmanuel Dorado.
That situation would appear to have been resolved and Wdowczyk is looking forward to a good season.
"We want to win the First Division and get Livingston back into the SPL," he told the club website.
"We have a plan and we are going to give it our best shot.
"My role will be to help Mark and his assistant Curtis Fleming along the way and especially with new players."
