Hay to keep manager's job
Livingston general manager Davie Hay
Davie Hay has taken Livingston to fifth in the SPL
Livingston chairman Dominic Keane says he has no plans to bring in a replacement for long-term caretaker manager Davie Hay.

Hay has taken Livi to fifth place in the SPL since taking over from Marcio Maximo in October.

At the time, Keane hinted that Hay would not get the job permanently as he needed him as a right-hand man.

But he told the Daily Mail: "I have never said I was looking for anybody else to come and manage this club."

Hay has continued with his duties as general manager in addition to those of head coach, but Keane added: "I don't concern myself with titles.

"Davie is my right-hand man and there is no disagreement over his role here.

"I don't care what others call him, whether they say he is the caretaker boss or whatever.

"At the moment, I feel he is the right man for the job and he is not going anywhere.

"Davie has a job here until the end of his contract in 18 months and I would not be at all surprised if he was here well beyond that, as well.

"Davie knows the position and so do the rest of his coaching staff.

"They all have a job here for the foreseeable future and I don't see that changing."

Livi have wion three, drawn three and lost three in the league since Hay took over and lie eight places behind fourth-placed Dunfermline.
