Bahoken heartbroken
Celtic's Henrik Larsson sustains a broken jaw in a clash with Gustave Bahoken
Gustave Bahoken says it was an accident

Livingston's Cameroonian defender Gustave Bahoken has apologised to Henrik Larsson for breaking the Celtic striker's jaw.

Larsson faces six weeks on the sidelines recovering from the double fracture sustained in a clash with the Cameroon player in his side's 2-1 win on Sunday.

Bahoken insisted the incident was purely an accident, the two players clashing heads in the penalty box.

"I'm feeling very hurt inside because I know how much Larsson means to so many people," he said.

I hope people realise this was an accident

Livingston defender Gustave Bahoken
"Celtic love him, Scottish football loves him and, of course, his wife and family love him.

"Those are the people I am thinking about right now. I want to say sorry to them all for what has happened to Henrik.

"I never meant to cause him any harm. I only went for the ball and we collided with each other.

"I hope people realise this was an accident."
