Liverpool striker Florent Sinama Pongolle has joined Spanish side Recreativo de Huelvaon on a one-year loan deal.
Pongolle has struggled to establish himself at Anfield
The 21-year-old has scored nine goals for the Reds since joining in 2002, but has struggled to establish himself in the first team.
"Pongolle is a very important signing for us," read a statement on the newly-promoted Spanish club's website.
He has also had loan spells at Le Havre, his first club, and Blackburn.
Pongolle has the likes of Craig Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield.
