Lincoln City boss Steve Tilson clamps down on goal celebrations

Lincoln City

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says he will fine players if they receive cautions for dissent or excessively celebrating goals next season.

"When you score a goal it's great to celebrate," he told BBC Lincolnshire.

"But the rules are you can't take your shirt off or go to the fans, it's silly because you know you'll be booked.

"If that happens they'll be fined. I can't afford players to get five yellow cards and miss a game so we've got to be disciplined on the pitch."
