Lincoln City sign Notts County's Stephen Hunt on loan
Hunt was a regular in Notts County's League Two title-winning side
Lincoln City have signed defender Stephen Hunt on a month's loan from League One side Notts County.
He was a regular as the Magpies won the League Two title last season but his chances have been limited this season with only four League appearances.
Imps manager Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He can play left-back and centre-half and brings experience so he should be a good acquisition."
Hunt, 26, is set to make his Lincoln debut on Saturday at Stockport County.
He said: "I know [Lincoln players] Delroy Facey and Jamie Clapham and Delroy told me the club shouldn't be where they are in the table, which I've heard a lot of people say.
"You look at the fixtures, the table and the recent results and it's not a great situation to walk into but I've been there with Notts County before so I've got a bit of experience in relegation battles and hopefully I can help Lincoln get out of it."
