Miller was on a six-month deal with Lincoln that expired in December
Barnsley have signed teenage defender Kern Miller after his contract at Lincoln City expired.
The 19-year-old, who is a product of The Imps' youth set up, has played in just one first-team game while at Sincil Bank back in April 2009
Barnsley manager Mark Robins told the club website: "Kern is a player with a lot of potential.
"We are looking forward to helping him develop and fulfil his potential. I am delighted he has joined us."
Miller is currently sidelined with a broken jaw sustained in an incident in Blackpool in the early hours of 12 December which Lancashire Police are investigating.
