Mustapha Carayol joined Lincoln from Torquay in the summer
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says striker Mustapha Carayol's performance against Morecambe was 'outstanding'.
Carayol won the man-of-the-match award in the 2-1 win and Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He caused their left back all sorts of problems."
He added: "Nine times out of 10 his final ball was very good, and that was a big positive for us as it gave us an outlet all afternoon."
It was Tilson's first win in League Two after taking over at Sincil Bank.
The Imps boss also praised winger Albert Jarrett who played on the wing against Morecambe.
"He didn't get quite as much of the ball but was always a threat. They've just got to learn that we've got to be a bit harder to break down when we don't have the ball."
Tilson said he was particularly pleased with the two goals: "to score from two set plays we've worked on at the training ground is always a massive bonus. We worked on them Thursday and Friday and they've both come off."
"I think another day we could have had another two or three goals".
The Imps face Hereford at the weekend with The Bulls two places below them in the table.
