Lincoln City sign Rangers' Lennon as Brown and Fagan go

Lincoln City

Lincoln City have signed Rangers striker Steven Lennon on loan until the end of the season, while Aaron Brown and Chris Fagan have left the Imps.

Lennon, 22, has made three first-team appearances for Rangers, as well as having a loan spell at Partick Thistle.

Transfer-listed Brown, 29, has had his contract terminated by mutual consent after three goals in 61 appearances.

Striker Fagan, 20, will join Spanish third tier side Jerez Industrial CF on loan until the summer.

It will be a return to Spain for the Irishman, who was signed by former Lincoln boss Peter Jackson in the summer from Glenn Hoddle's academy.

He made 17 appearances for the Imps, scoring four goals.

Lincoln manager Chris Sutton said: "He [Lennon] can play up front or in midfield so he gives us options.

"If he impresses, something could well be sorted out for next season."

Loanees Matt Saunders and Michael Uwezu have returned to Fulham after their month-long spells with the Imps came to an end.

Both are currently injured, although Sutton has hinted that he may bring midfielder Saunders back to Sincil Bank when he is fit again.
