Lincoln City agree deals for four Fulham players

Lincoln City

Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton is set to sign Fulham defenders Adam Watts and Joe Anderson for undisclosed fees.

Centre-half Watts, 21, has agreed a deal until the summer of 2012, having made 11 appearances since joining the Imps on loan in October.

Left-back Anderson, 20, came through Fulham's youth academy and will join on a contract until the summer of 2011.

City have also agreed one-month loans for Fulham striker Michael Uwezu, 19, and midfielder Matthew Saunders, 20.

Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "Adam's done really well. We've been talking to him for a while and it's a big coup for the club."

The deals will be completed when the transfer window officially reopens on 1 January.

All four will be eligible for Lincoln's FA Cup third round tie at Premier League Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Sutton is also hopeful of extending Aston Villa midfielder Chris Herd's loan until the end of the season.

But defender Eric Lichaj has returned to Villa Park at the end of his loan, while Nottingham Forest have recalled full-back Joe Heath from his spell at Sincil Bank.
