Jackson backs N'Guessan accolade

Lincoln boss Peter Jackson says Dany N'Guessan deserved to be named in the Professional Footballers' Association's League Two team of the season.

The winger was named one of the best 11 players based on the votes of fellow professionals across the division.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's a great accolade, especially with it being picked by his fellow players.

"In the last 12 months his form's been excellent, he's been a lot more consistent and he deserves the award."

The Frenchman, who is out of contract in the summer, has played in all but one of Lincoln's league matches this season and scored nine goals.

He is the third Imps player in the last four seasons to be named in the team of the year, after defender Gareth McAuley in 2005/06 and Lee Frecklington in 2006/07.
