Lincoln City have completed the signing of Chesterfield's Hungarian centre-back Janos Kovacs, for a fee to be decided by a Football League tribunal.
The 22-year-old has signed a two-year deal, which will commence at the end of his Chesterfield deal on 1 July.
City manager Peter Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "He's a very impressive player, he's got a real presence about him."
Lincoln hope to sign at least another two players before the end of the week.
The Imps will have to pay a fee for the Hungarian, because he is under 24 and was offered a new deal at Saltergate.
