Lincoln had not won for nine games under Schofield

Lincoln have axed the managerial team of John Schofield and John Deehan after the club's poor start to the season.
Team manager Schofield and director of football Deehan led Lincoln into the League Two play-offs last season in their first year in charge.
But the Red Imps, beaten 4-0 by Milton Keynes Dons on Sunday, are now second from bottom with just two league wins.
"The board have decided it is best to make changes while there's time to turn things around," said a club statement.

It added: "Both men have worked tirelessly to bring playing success to the club and it is with regret of all parties that this has not resulted in better results."
Youth-team coach and former long-serving Lincoln defender Grant Brown has been placed in temporary charge until the club appoints a new manager.
Former City midfielder Schofield, 42, who signed a new three-year contract as manager in the summer, said: "Leaving the club this way is disappointing in view of the desire and vision the club and I shared."
