Orient keeper on mend from injury

Jones joined Orient from Everton in July 2008

Leyton Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones is recovering after losing consciousness in the 1-0 defeat by Colchester.

Jones took a blow to the head from Orient defender Ben Chorley in a first-minute goalmouth scramble at Brisbane Road and was stretchered off.

"He was knocked unconscious, but we're hopeful everything is OK," manager Geraint Williams told the club website.

"He's come round and everything seems fine, but obviously you have to be careful with these things."
