Thorpe heads for Orient exit
Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has transfer-listed striker Lee Thorpe.

Thorpe's contract expires at the end of the season, but he has been told now that he can leave Brisbane Road.

The 28-year-old has scored 12 goals since joining Orient from Lincoln City in May, 2002, including four this season.

"He's been picked in the side on a regular basis but it's not happened for him, and that's been a disappointment for all of us," said Ling.

Ling, speaking to his club's website, added: "It is unlikely he will feature again in the first-team for us."

Thorpe has also been booked seven times and dismissed once this term.

Ling said: "Lee has also made regular appearances in the referee's notebook and that takes the edge off his game as well."
